The directional dual-polarized electrically tunable antenna achieves single-antenna transmit-receive duplex functionality by integrating ±45° orthogonal polarization units. Its core advantage lies in reducing the number of base station antennas (traditional GSM base stations require 6 antennas for three sectors, while dual-polarized antennas only need 3). It also enhances isolation (≥30dB) through polarization orthogonality, allowing antenna spacing to be reduced to 20-30cm. The electrically tunable function achieves 0.1° precision tilt adjustment through electronic tilt-down technology, avoiding downtime maintenance issues associated with mechanical tilt-down, while reducing call loss and interference and improving overall network service quality.
